2009 Update

Welcome back after a very sucessful celebration on March 10th 2007! There are a few updates with the coming of the new year, most importantly our visiting hours:

The Governor Stephen Hopkins House is open for tours Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 until 4:00 PM between May 1 and October 31.

Tours can also be arranged by appointment by calling 401-421-0694.

We welcome families, students, preservationists, scholars and all those interested in our colonial heritage.

A $3 donation is recommended.

The parade and festivities in honor of Govenor Stephen Hopkins' 300th birthday was a major success. We now have a gallery up where you can view videos and pictures from that day of celebration. (Click here.)
